From September, WizzAir will increase the number of routes and open a base at the Lublin airport. The growth of the Hungarian carrier’s operations will result in an increase in passenger volumes and more frequent aviation fuel deliveries by LOTOS-Air BP Polska.

For an air carrier, having a regular relationship with an aviation fuel supplier is one of the crucial elements of business success. The fuel price is undoubtedly a key factor, but what also counts is stable product quality, such as is guaranteed by fuel from the Gdańsk refinery of Grupa LOTOS. LOTOS − Air BP Polska has been consistently building its image of a reliable supplier on the Polish market.

New management model

LOTOS − Air BP Polska handles plane refuelling operations at the airports in Warsaw, Gdańsk, and Katowice and, since the beginning of 2015, also at the Lublin airport.

The new model of cooperation between the fuel supplier and the Lublin airport is based on Air BP’s know-how, successfully applied at tens of regional European airports,” explained Adrianna Skoracka, Vice-President of the LOTOS - Air BP Polska Management Board.

Lublin is the first suburban airport to which LOTOS - Air BP Polska supplies two types of fuel − its main product, the Jet-A1 fuel, and aviation gasoline, or avgas.
