Polymer modified bitumen
Polymer modified bitumen are used as a binding material in mineral bitumen mixtures (asphalt mix airstrips) designated for applications on roads, flying strips and other surfaces loaded with intense traffic.
Polymer modified bitumen
Polymer modified bitumen MODBIT 10/40-65
Typical applications of polymer modified bitumen include the production of:
- asphalt concretes (AC) for all layers of a pavement,
-
asphalt concretes of a high stiffness module (AC WMS) for base course and binding road layers,
- base course and binding road layers,
- stone mastix asphalt (SMA)
- mastix asphalt (MA),
- porous asphalt (PA),
- thin hot-sprayed layers (SAM, SAMI),
MODBIT 10/40-65 can be also used as an excellent insulation material.
