New License Awards in APA 2011

We have been awarded participating interest in two new licenses in the 2011 APA licensing round located in Halten Terrace and Træna Basin respectively. This further strengthens our existing portfolio which includes participating interest in 8 licenses on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. We are the designated operator of 3 of these.

Working with Maersk Guardian

This year we take our first major step to becoming an operator here in Norway as we prepare to drill the Skagen prospect. We have secured Maersk Guardian as the Drilling contractor and will work with Ross Offshore Well Management, Proactima, Acona and Haliburton to develop our plans and operations.

Yme/PL 316 Redevelopment
We are working with the operator Talisman and our partners  Wintershall and AEDC to reach first oil safely as soon as possible.
