Zero Harm to people, the environment and assets.
The HSE philosophy underlines our basic view that harm to people and harm to the environment does not just happen. It is caused by lack of risk management or insufficient implementation of the appropriate mitigating actions. Recognizing, analyzing and managing risk factors is a continuous process and an integral part of the decision making processes. All employees will be expected to take responsibility for their own behaviour and trained to have the tools and courage to influence others. Our objective is:
No work-related illness or injuries
- We will create a working environment that promotes the well-being of the individual.
- Safety is considered as the number one priority. The safety of our employees and those involved in our activities will not be compromised. We will demonstrate that this is a priority through the way we work with partners, operators and suppliers
- Leaders and employees should behave in safe manner and demonstrate knowledge over the risks in their work-place.
- We will require the safe design, construction, operations and maintenance of facilities.
No harm to the Environment
- We advocate the precautionary principle. Applicable legislation must be complied with. Design and operational principles should be based on best available technology.
- We will maximise the utilization of natural resources and energy efficiency in our design and operations
No violation of our Ethical principles:
- Business activities will be conducted in compliance with relevant legislation and requirements.
- Our business conduct with suppliers and partners shall be based on sound business practice and characterised by fairness and transparency.
- Agreements with consultants, agents or Intermediaries will be made in writing to reflect the true relationship between the parties. Everyone acting on behalf of LOTOS EPN must abide by the relevant national legislation and carry out their duties in accordance LOTOS EPNs own Ethical Guidelines.
- There shall be no discrimination based on age, gender, race and religion, national or ethnic origin.
