The Norwegian Ministry of Oil and Energy announced January 17, 2012 new awards of production licenses offered under the APA 2011 Licensing Round.

LOTOS Exploration and Production Norge AS is very satisfied having been offered participating interest in 2 licenses in the Norwegian Sea; Halten Terrace and Træna Basin respectively. The licenses adds to the strengthening of LOTOS EPN portfolio, holding interesting potential for both oil and gas to be discovered.

License participants and operators:

PL643 – blocks 6406/ & 6406/4 (Halten Terrace):
- LOTOS EPN – 30%
- VNG Norge AS– 40% (operator)
- Edison International Spa – 30%

PL655 – block 6610/2 (Træna Basin):
- LOTOS EPN – 30%
- Wintershall – 30% (operator)
- Centrica – 20%
- VNG – 20%
