A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics, the Faculty of Trade. Since 1980 he worked at PHZ Labimex. In the years 1983-1984 he was employed in KMW Engineering as a Managing Director. Then, by 1986 he stayed in the USA as a Contract Manager. In 1986 he started working at a foreign enterprise Ipaco as a Director and in the years 1987 – 1989 he served as an Export Manager in Sinexim Gmbh in Western Berlin. Since 1989, he ran his own business activities, including Easey Garments UK Ltd. (Easy Jeans) as Head of the Representation to Poland and the CIS countries. In 2002 he started his career in PKN Orlen S.A. where he successively held positions of: the Director of the Office of Planning and Retail Network, the Director of the Office of Retail Development Network - Europe, the Executive Director of Retail Sales until 2008. From October 2008 to February 2009 he was a member of the Supervisory Board of Orlen Deutschland AG. Since 2007 to February 2009 he was employed in the company from capital group PKN Orlen S.A., i.e. AB VENTUS NAFTA, based in Vilnius, as a member of the Management Board and subsequently the President of the Management Board. Now he is an independent member of the Supervisory Board of RUCH S.A. Since July 1, 2009 he is the Vice-President of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS. He manages the overall commercial segment operations of LOTOS Group and is responsible in this field of action.
