Michał Rumiński holds a master’s degree in law and administration of the Warsaw University (1998), a master’s degree in economics of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) (2003), and an MBA degree of University of Chicago, Booth School of Business (2009).
Since 2007, under the cooperation with the MCI Euroventures Investment Fund holds the positions of: Investment Partner, Director of the ABC Data SA, Chairman and Management Partner of Cleantech Venture Partners. On 1st September 2011 took the position of the Chairman of ABC Data S.A. Earlier (before the sale of the shares of these companies by MCI) he was also the Member of the Supervisory Boards of Lew Group Sp. z o.o. and Bankier.pl SA.
In the years 2000-2007 related to the KBC Group, since 2004 – Corporate Finance Director of KBC Securities SA, in 2004 he worked as the Investment Banking Department Supervisor in Kredyt Bank S.A. In the years 2000 – 2004 he held the position of Project Manager in the Investment Banking Department Supervisor in Kredyt Bank S.A. In the years 1999 – 2000 – employed as the Capital Market Department in the European Cooperation Bank. Has a good command of English.
He is the author of the following publications: “The 1997 Currency Crisis vs. Restructuring of the Financial and Enterprise Sectors in South Korea”, Narodowy Bank Polski (September 2004); “Free Flow of Capital in the European Community” INFOR (February 2000).
