From September 6th to September 8th, Grupa LOTOS will participate in the next Economic Forum held in Krynica-Zdrój.  The company is a partner of the event. As in the previous years, more than 180 discussion panels will take place at this mountain town to talk about the most important economic, social and political issues in Europe.

From September 6th to September 8th, Grupa LOTOS will participate in the next Economic Forum held in Krynica-Zdrój.  The company is a partner of the event. As in the previous years, more than 180 discussion panels will take place at this mountain town to talk about the most important economic, social and political issues in Europe.

Grupa LOTOS will host a panel entitled “Polish companies faced with dynamic changes in the economy”. The discussion will be moderated by Jacek Łęski , a Polish journalist and PR specialist, and one of the speakers will be Robert Pietryszyn, President of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. Other panellists will include representatives of business and government administration – Dawid Jackiewicz, Minister of the State Treasury; Krzysztof Tchórzewski, Minister of Energy, Krzysztof Skóra, President of the Management Board of KGHM Polska Miedź, Mariusz Bober, President of the Management Board of Grupa Azoty, and Beata Stelmach, CEO of GE Poland and the Baltics.

Robert Pietryszyn will also take part in a debate entitled “Entrepreneurs’ view on the Polish judicial system”. Another representative of the company, Mateusz Aleksander Bonca, Vice President of Grupa LOTOS S.A., will join a discussion entitled “Fourth industrial revolution.  Opportunity or threat to the development of innovative economy?”. The Forum participants will also talk about “Security and new sources of oil supply for Central and Eastern Europe in view of the changes in the oil market”. In this debate, Grupa LOTOS will be represented by Marcin Jastrzębski, Vice President of the company.

The Economic Forum in Krynica has been organised on a regular basis since 1991. It is considered the most important economic conference in Central and Eastern Europe, promoting political and economic cooperation between the European Union and its neighbouring countries. For more than 20 years, the event has been bringing together prime ministers and representatives of European countries, EU policy makers, heads of European companies and economists. This year, more than 3,000 guests from Europe, Central Asia and the United States are expected to participate in the Forum.
