Grupa LOTOS has been ranked the sixth largest company in Central Europe. The close-to-the-top position in the ranking of 500 largest corporations in the region is owed to strong revenues. In 2011, which was the period under analysis, Grupa LOTOS reported revenue of EUR 6,596m (PLN 29,258.5m), that is up 48.8% on the previous year.

Grupa LOTOS has been ranked the sixth largest company in Central Europe. The close-to-the-top position in the ranking of 500 largest corporations in the region is owed to strong revenues. In 2011, which was the period under analysis, Grupa LOTOS reported revenue of EUR 6,596m (PLN 29,258.5m), that is up 48.8% on the previous year.
One of the contributing factors in 2011 was an increased utilisation of the process plants delivered as part of the 10+ Programme, higher throughput volumes and stronger sales, particularly in liquid fuels, all of which upped the revenues to the record high. In the two previous COFACE rankings, Grupa LOTOS came in 15th and 10th, respectively.
It should also be noted that among the top ten of this year's ranking as many as four companies are based in Poland, while five of the top-ranking organisations are from the oil sector.
