In May 2015, LOTOS’s model refining margin was USD 7.49/bbl, having grown over 80% year on year.

On June 1st 2015, the Annual General Meeting of Grupa LOTOS S.A. was held in Gdańsk. The Annual General Meeting approved the Company’s separate and consolidated financial statements for 2014, and granted discharge to all members of the Grupa LOTOS Management and Supervisory Boards in respect of performance of their duties.

The Supervisory Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. has concluded the procedure to select the President of the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. of the ninth joint term of office.
The Supervisory Board has today resolved to appoint Mr Paweł Olechnowicz to the Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. of the ninth joint term of office as President of the Management Board.

This year, Grupa LOTOS’s refinery in Gdańsk has further diversified its sources of crude oil supplies. The new crude is produced at the Lubiatów gas and oil production facility managed by PGNiG.

In the past, crude oil was brought to the refinery over the Druzhba pipeline and by sea, through Naftoport. Now the feedstock is also supplied by rail. Rail supplies are performed by LOTOS Kolej, one of the largest freight carriers in Poland.

LOTOS - Air BP Polska adds four Polish airports, Warsaw (WAW), Gdańsk (GDN), Katowice (KTW) and Lublin (LUZ), to the worldwide network of more than 700 airports in 50 countries where the Sterling Card is accepted.

In the Nauta Shipyard of Gdynia, an overhaul of the LOTOS Petrobaltic drilling rig, undertaken to renew the rig’s classification certificate, has been completed. All work was designed to further improve safety-at-work and environmental performance.

In April 2015, LOTOS’s model refining margin was USD 7.87/bbl, having grown nearly 19% year on year.

For Q1 2015, LOTOS reported EBITDA of PLN 446m (up 92% year on year) and operating profit close to PLN 268m (Q1 2014: PLN 17.3m). In the same period, the Company generated operating cash flows of PLN 321m (up 27% year on year).

This is the most important conclusion of the panel discussion entitled ‘Completing Europe - From the North-South Corridor to Energy, Transportation and Telecommunications Union’, held on April 21st during the European Economic Congress in Katowice.

Today marked the opening of the 7th European Economic Congress, the largest business event in Central Europe. The opening speech of the Congress was delivered by President Bronisław Komorowski. The event will continue until Wednesday, April 22nd.

From September, WizzAir will increase the number of routes and open a base at the Lublin airport. The growth of the Hungarian carrier’s operations will result in an increase in passenger volumes and more frequent aviation fuel deliveries by LOTOS - Air BP Polska.
