On August 16th 2014 at 8.30pm, ‘ESPERANZA+’ jazz show will start on the open-air stage of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk on the Ołowianka island. The show is the main event of the 2014 Solidarity of Arts festival, whose main sponsor is Grupa LOTOS.
The Hydrogen Recovery Unit (Polish acronym: WOW), a new installation at Grupa LOTOS, is expected to add to the Gdańsk refinery's total output a further 100 thousand tonnes of LPG, 9 thousand tonnes of hydrogen and 25 thousand tonnes of naphtha per year.

In early July 2014, first Ryanair's planes took off from Kraków and Wrocław to Gdańsk. The launch of the new holiday routes is a prelude of the Irish airline's expansion on the Polish market of passenger flights. As a next step, the company plans to open a new operational base at the Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport. The airline's development will benefit not only passengers, the city of Gdańsk and its airport, but also LOTOS − Air BP Polska, which supplies fuel to this largest private air carrier in Poland.
On June 30th 2014, the Annual General Meeting of Grupa LOTOS S.A. was held in Gdańsk. As the eighth term of office of the Company’s Supervisory Board had expired, the General Meeting appointed members for the subsequent term.

On Wednesday, June 4th 2014, a branch of Lechia Gdańsk Football Academy was opened in Kokoszki. It is the twelfth branch of the Academy opened as part of the 'White and green future with LOTOS' programme.
Yesterday three young seals staying at the Hel Seal Centre were released into the sea in Czołpin, within the Słowiński National Park area. Two of them − Maszop and Maszoperia − were born in the Seal Centre, where they learnt to swim and fish in adaptation tanks.
May this year saw LOTOS launch three new service stations in Motorway Service Areas (MSAs) on the A4 and A2 routes. The first MSA opened in Rudka (A4 section near Tarnów) and the other two in Brwinów, a town located between the Pruszków and Grodzisk Mazowiecki interchanges, around 20 km near Warsaw.
