Spring has greeted us with snow and blizzards. The atmosphere offshore – 80 km distant from the mainland – makes both working and rest conditions far more difficult than usual for this time of year. The weather now is not very different from the wintery conditions here, a fact documented in photos just a few days ago.

On Thursday, LOTOS Paliwa and Miejskie Zakłady Autobusowe of Warsaw signed a contract for the supplies of 43 thousand cubic metres of diesel oil over the period of 12 months. The value of the contract is over PLN 241m.

On March 12th 2013, Talisman Energy (operator of the Yme field) and SBM Offshore (owner of the MOPU - Mobile Offshore Production Unit) announced that a settlement had been reached to remove the defective platform from the Yme field.
Michał Kościuszko and Maciek Szczepaniak were close to coming in tenth in the overall classification, but eventually did not manage to complete Rally Mexico. This was due to a serious failure of their Mini WRC’s engine, which occurred on the last day of the rally, on the longest Guanajuatito section.
