1.2 million tonnes of own crude oil production in 2015 and focus on dynamic development of the hydrocarbon exploration and production segment - these are the key objectives of LOTOS' newly adopted strategy for the coming years.

On September 16th, a ship hauling an oil platform to be installed on the YME field arrived at the port of Stavanger in Norway. With legs fitted, the platform will be towed to the field and, after the necessary preparations, it will start to operate.

On May 4th in Brussels, a ceremony of singing the deed of incorporation of Central Europe Energy Partners (CEEP) was held. CEEP is a non-profit organisation bringing together business entities, research institutions and other Central European organisations operating in the energy sector.

The North European Energy Security Forum is the most prestigious meeting to date of EU representatives, Polish government, businesspeople and energy sector experts from all over the world. The Forum, organised by Windsor Energy Group, a UK think tank, and Grupa LOTOS S.A., will take place in Gdańsk on February 18th - 20th 2010.

LOTOS Tank, subsidiary of Grupa LOTOS S.A., fuelled its first aircraft at the Gdańsk airport. The airplane belongs to Norwegian Air Shuttle and routes between cities of Oslo and Gdańsk.    

The State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and Grupa LOTOS S.A. signed today in Baku a Protocol of Intent in accordance with both companies will conduct joint technical and economic studies of potential for making businesses in the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Poland and any other country.

LOTOS Tank, a subsidiary of Grupa LOTOS S.A. opened state-of-the-art fuel terminal at Gdansk airport. Within that project LOTOS built new installations and storage tanks for the highest quality aviation fuel coming to the airport directly from Gdansk refinery.

The Management Board of Grupa LOTOS S.A. hereby publishes selected operational and financial estimates of the LOTOS Group for the fourth quarter of 2008 and the twelve months of 2008.

In connection with the publication of UniCredit’s report containing information which was defamatory for our company and which has had a negative effect on the financial interests of Grupa LOTOS and its shareholders, we decided to take legal action with a view to protecting the rights of Grupa LOTOS and its shareholders. 

The Management Board of Grupa LOTOS finds the conclusions contained in UniCredit’s recommendation of November 21st 2008 to be entirely without foundation.

Crude oil deliveries, joint action on the aviation fuel market and sales & purchase agreement regarding fuel supplies for Statoil’s sites network operating in Poland are among the stipulations of the contracts signed by the LOTOS SA Group Norway’s StatoilHydro and Statoil Poland yesterday. Both groups are staking on a dynamic development of their mutual relations.
