The cooperation between PGNiG and the LOTOS Group in oil and gas exploration is gaining speed. First exploration work will be carried out in four of PGNiG's licence areas situated in the region of Pomerania.

48. The Rally RACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada determined the outcome of the competition for the PWRC honours. Michał Kościuszko and Maciek Szczepaniak, who had arrived in Spain second in the classification, crashed out on special stage nine and lost their chance for the champion title. Before that unfortunate accident, the LOTOS Dynamic Rally Team did really well, taking top spots in the rally. Michał staked everything on one roll of the dice, but rallies are unpredictable and the best cannot always win.

LOTOS Dynamic Rally Team in contention for the World Champion title in Rally Catalunya. Michał Kościuszko and Maciek Szczepaniak racing in the LOTOS Dynamic Rally Team colours will start today in Rally Catalunya, the final round of the World Rally Championship in this season. Five drivers are within sight of the PWRC title, including Michał Kościuszko ranked second in the standings.

In Q3 2012, LOTOS posted PLN 626m in net profit.  The Company’s revenue came in at over PLN 8.5bn, up by 13% year on year and 2% quarter on quarter.  At PLN 604m, operating profit was nearly seven times higher than the Q3 2011 result. Net profit for the first three quarters of 2012 was PLN 694.2m.

LOTOS Petrobaltic S.A. and CalEnergy Resources Poland Sp. z o.o. will cooperate in the development of B4 and B6 gas fields on the Baltic Sea. The total quantities of natural gas reserves amount to as much as 4 billion cubic metres. The two companies executed a cooperation agreement in Gdańsk on October 30th 2012.

The Rajd Dolnośląski rally race took place this weekend as the last round of this year's Polish Rally Championship (PRC). The event was an excellent end of the 2012 season for LOTOS Dynamic Rally Team and LOTOS Subaru Poland Rally Team. Also over the weekend, the Rally of Italy was held on the island of Sardegna as the penultimate elimination round of the World Championship, which offered an opportunity for Michał Kościuszko of LOTOS Dynamic Rally Team to fight for the precious points.

  Today, Grupa LOTOS S.A. has executed a credit facility agreement with a syndicate of five banks, intended to refinance an existing credit facility contracted to finance the Company’s mandatory stocks.

At a meeting held on October 3rd 2012, the Supervisory Board of LOTOS Petrobaltic appointed the Company's Management Board. The Management Board consists of: Zbigniew Paszkowicz, President of the Management Board; Dariusz Wojdyński, Vice-President of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer, and Krzysztof Sułecki, Vice-President of the Management Board and Chief Exploration and Production Officer.

It was the most challenging and the only gravel-road elimination round of this year's Polish Rally Championship. How difficult the 69th Rally Poland was may be best gathered from the fact that from a total of 52 teams that enrolled for the race, 17 never reached the finish line. For the 13 special stages with a total length of 233 kilometres, LOTOS was represented by three teams.

Visitors coming to Poland from Berlin via Świecko may now stop by the newly opened service station in Boczów. It is the first DOFO station bearing the new colours of the LOTOS retail network.

Today, at 4pm on September 28th 2012, a qualifying stage will mark the opening of the 69th Rally Poland – the most prestigious event of the Polish Rally Championship (PRC). This tenth ERC and sixth PRC round will consist of 13 special stages, covering a total distance of 233 km. The LOTOS brand will be represented by as many as three teams.

Bartłomiej Mirecki, having won both runs at the Automotodrom Brno race track, sealed his title of the Kia Picanto 2012 Polish Racing Champion. In the first run, the 16-year-old car racing novice beat Michał Dobrowolski and Filip Tokar, while in the second one he left behind Zbigniew Łacisz and Stanisław Kostrzak.
